Passu is a training partner matching app for amateur athletes. Runners, cyclists, Hyrox, strength. We match you with people nearby on a similar pace and training schedule, and help you actually show up.
We're building toward a 2026 launch. Founding members who signed up on passu.run at the waitlist stage get the first invites and current features free for life.
At waitlist signup: your email, postcode, and the sports you train in. If you connect Strava, we also collect your first name, last name, city, country, and your athletic activity data (sport type, pace, weekly volume, frequency) to improve matching. We never share your data with third parties. See our privacy page for the full picture.
When you click "Connect with Strava," you're sent to Strava to authorise Passu. You grant us read-only access to your activity summary. We never post to your feed, never modify your activities, never read private activities you haven't chosen to share.
Two ways, either works:
From Strava (recommended): go to strava.com/settings/apps, find Passu, click Revoke Access. This immediately revokes our access token.
From Passu (once the app is live): Profile → Settings → Disconnect Strava. Until the app launches, use the method above.
Email hello@passu.run with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email address you signed up with. We'll remove your record from our database within 7 days and confirm when it's done. Your founder spot will also be released.
Every email from Passu has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, you're off the list. Or email hello@passu.run and we'll handle it.
Founder spots must be claimed within 7 days of your launch invite. If you miss the window, you keep your place on the waitlist but lose the free-for-life founder perk. Drop us an email if life gets in the way before the deadline and we'll see what we can do.
No. Passu is a training partner app. People meet through training, they always have, but that's not what we're building. Our focus is accountability: helping you find someone who'll actually show up to your sessions.
